Cath and I visited cousin Lucy, Aaron and Layla today, after we finally got the truck started. Layla is growing at an incredible rate, as you can see. 3 months old now!
I had my first sortie in an F-15 in LOMAC today with fellow VAAF pilot Toaly. Check the results: Before: Toaly and I lined up to launch. After: Me landing. Sort of.
Red vs Blue. All you need to know. Go get it, cupcake.
You will need: – a thick slice of nice fresh ham – a slice of cheese – two slices of bread – nice salty butter – some sliced, large, dark mushrooms Now, everyone thinks that ham toasties are all the same. Let me tell you, there’s a massive difference between the limp, greasy, tasteless foam [...]
Here are some more nice shots from LOMAC. They are from my new single-player mission “Carrier Exchange” which I’m still finishing. A flight of F/A-18C Hornets, fresh from trying to sink the Admiral Kuznetsov. The same Hornets landing on CVN-70. Note Hornet #2 about to trap. The only remaining “Sundowners” F-14A. He got 2 MiG-31s [...]
Here’s a screenshot at the end of today’s sortie in LOMAC – Banzai, Ado, RangerKarl and me home safe. Great flight, had lots of fun. Check out the VAAF.
If anyone is feeling really nice, I’d love a genuine Apache Flight Manual (3rd link, Tm-1-1520-238-10 Helicopter, Attack, Ah-64a Apache). It’s a big call for that site to say they’re “the most informative site on the internet” though :)
My new contract is going pretty well, but there’s one problem: the network is totally locked down and I can’t chat on MSN any more. Never fear, for I am a well sneaky bastige. I’ve installed an IRC proxy on my webserver at http://irc.radsy.com – just load that link, enter a nickname and hit login. [...]
Here’s me in my SU-33 (the naval version of the SU-27 Flanker) after my very first (successful) carrier landing in LOMAC. Wicked fun. Now I just have to get the hang of the AA radar, which is a pig. The customisation in LOMAC is really cool – here’s my A-10 cockpit, complete with a photo [...]
Well, everything went marvellously yesterday. I got LOMAC installed on my lovely fresh XP build and Cath got a very nice Lalique Cabochon ring for Valentine’s day. But, there’s always a catch. my X-45 has gone to joystick heaven. It just stopped working. I’ll have to send it back to Dabs to get a replacement. [...]
